We were initially a bit apprehensive about taking the trip post Covid, but our interaction with Neemrana's reservation desk eased us a bit. We chose Kesroli Fort as we have already been to Tijara Fort and Neemrana Fort was not in our list due to high occupancy and more commercialization.
We chose Kesroli as we wanted to go somewhere peaceful which gave us the much needed break after 5 months, and we are glad we chose this.
Right from our arrival, all the safety precautions were being adhered to, our luggage was sanitized, temperatures checked, and we straight away were taken to our rooms. Since this is a historical property, all rooms are spread out and no 2 rooms are near each other..we chose Shankar Mahal, which was on the first floor and came with its own veranda and beds to accommodate 4 people. This is not exactly a fort property, its actually located on a very small hill, but the view from up above the rooms is so calm and amazing green fields all around, surrounded by Aravalis, gives you so much to think and ponder. Anyways, they also have a pool and spa but both are non-operational as of now. Mr. Vipul Rawal is the lifeline of this property, ever smiling, ready to hear you, address all concerns and ready to serve you in any way possible. The chef, Mr. Arun and all the staff are extremely humble and polite and eager to make your stay memorable. They can cook per your preference, even if you ask them to add a particular dish in the buffet spread, they will happily do so. To avoid crowding at the restaurant, they can serve your meals in the room itself, but we chose to eat in the pool side restaurant as there were very less people and all the food was being served in disposable with mask, gloves and face shields on. If you are looking to get out of the city, this place is where you should be..they have some amazing deals going on which you can't afford to miss..just one suggestion, the occupancy on weekends was a bit on the higher side, so if you want the property all to yourself, go over for a weekday, if possible.
